Our Favorite Place to stay:
Tulemar is the nicest place and most secure place to stay in Costa Rica! There is more wildlife in Tulemar than anywhere else in Costa Rica, even the national parks! Most of the houses see several balcony monkey visits ever day, and then there are tons of exotic birds and sloths in the trees surrounding the villas. In addition to the wildlife, there is a private beach in the neighborhood and even a shuttle included in the price to bring you to the beach and back. They have room service and tables setup by the beach, for that perfect beach sunset dinner. The houses have huge ocean views as well, balcony jacuzzis, daily maid service and full time assistants, always on call for anything you need. It is located 5 mintues from the Marina Pez Vela (you can watch the boats leave and come back from the balconies) and right in the middle of Manuel Antonio surrounded by places to eat and things to do! Most definitely the nicest place to stay in Costa Rica, there is nothing else even close! See more pictures here: GoTulemar.com

The cheap clean option!
For years people have asked for somewhere to stay that is clean, holds quite a few people, and doesn't break the budget! Sailfish BunkHouse is 5 minutes to Quepos, with NO dirt roads, located in a nice quiet neighborhood right outside of town. It backs up to primary rain forest so there are monkeys usually playing in the trees behind the house. It has two bedrooms, each with full size beds, AC and flat screen TV's, and then a bunk bed (full/twin) in the living room. It has full AC and Hot Water, television in every room, two full bathrooms, and the owners aren't strict on how many people stay in the house (as long as guests are happy). At $125 a night, there is no cheaper way to stay in Quepos!
